Tamika Stewart is licensed as a professional counselor who is currently working on a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in Behavioral Health. Originally, she is from Indiana where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health Education (Indiana University, Bloomington). In 2000 she relocated to Georgia and in 2002 began the master’s program at Argosy University (Atlanta). She received her Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling in 2004. Tamika has approximately 21 years of experience in human services with 17 years in the mental health arena. Tamika has implemented community-based programs that provide individuals (adolescents and adults) with substance abuse, mental health diagnosis and developmental disabilities services in their home and community. Tamika is a mental health advocate and supporter of suicide prevention, intervention and education. She has provided countless families with services within their own community to help stabilize and create sustainable change. Tamika has performed countless duties such as substance abuse assessments, mental health assessments, the facilitation of counseling sessions. Tamika has a passion for helping heal families by creating sustainable change.
